The Power of Industry and Professional Advancement category recognizes associations that address industry and professional advancement with innovative educational and professional development opportunities; engage in public relations and communications campaigns to further an industry or profession鈥檚 reputation; and conducts research to enhance the collective body of knowledge for an industry or profession.

Each Roadshow event has featured 黑料老司机 executives and chapter leaders; federal officials, including U.S. Sens. Tim Kaine and Tom Carper, U.S. Reps. Sam Graves, Rick Larsen and James Clyburn; governors, like Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear; and mayors, such as Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego and Charleston, SC, Mayor William S. Cogswell.
